Steve Short is a reporter at Texas Public Radio, an NPR member station based in San Antonio.
Texas Public Radio (TPR) a listener-supported, nonprofit broadcaster serving communities in San Antonio, South Central Texas and the Texas Hill Country. Everyday, TPR seeks to enhance the community by broadcasting engaging classical music and delivering comprehensive news coverage and compelling content that offers balanced perspectives and diverse points of view on local, regional, national and international topics. Our three stations include: KPAC 88.3 FM, broadcasting a 24-hour classical music format to San Antonio and surrounding communities; KSTX 89.1 FM, San Antonio's NPR affiliate and a premier source for in-depth news; and KTXI 90.1 FM, broadcasting the very best of Texas Public Radio's news and classical music formats to communities in the Texas Hill Country, including Ingram, Kerrville and Fredericksburg.
